A member of the medical team will go over post surgery care. In most cases, it will involve a pain reliever to help alleviate the worst of your pet's discomfort. There will also be instructions for wound care and when to come back in for a follow up appointment (if one is needed).
Complications will be discussed and you'll be told what warning signs and symptoms need to be called in right away.
Instructions will always be printed out so that you have a hard copy of relevant information with you. You may also be provided with additional online materials.
