After your pet has recovered from anesthesia they may want to be playful and more active, it's your job to keep them calm and to encourage rest whenever possible.

We recommend that you:

  • Take away hard chew toys and avoid playing any tug-o-war for 1-2 weeks
  • Monitor their activity levels outside - keep leashed if you think they will get into something
  • Limit access to stairs and jumping on furniture while your pet recovers from anesthesia
  • Set aside a safe space for your pet in a secluded area where it's quiet and they're able to rest, unbothered
